About the farm

We are a small site situated deep in the countryside surrounded predominantly by grazing land and woodland which encourages an incredible abundance of wildlife. The lack of light pollution means that the stars can be clearly seen and the site of satellites and comets tails and shooting stars have all been enjoyed by our visitors.

We are away from busy roads and traffic fumes. There are many walks leading from the site and cyclists routes as well. Dogs are allowed on leads (We have sheep in the fields nearby) and again good long walks for dog owners. Private bookings are available in advance for the outdoor heated swimming pool situated in the village.

We allow Touring Caravans, Motorhomes with lovely views of the countryside.

We are a level grassy, well sheltered site, with a washroom and flush toilet, with basin and cold water only and drinking water. We have a chemical toilet disposal point, and five electric hook ups.

Don't just imagine the scene, come and join us down here for a happy stay.

A good peaceful location, good access with good walks. Some good pubs in the nearby village which are dog friendly and a good Indian Restaurant. In fact a good site. The owner extended a very friendly welcome and keeps the site very well maintained. It is very pleasing to see grass cut short ( no damp soggy trouser bottoms and paddling grass into the van!). The facilities are basic but kept very clean. No problems with noise

This site was amazing. Peaceful, quiet, plenty of wildlife, walks & exploring. Central for touring in car. Interesting by having live music groups practising in rehearsal barns, and a pleasant change and but not noisy& not late finishing. Michelle & Gary couldn't be more helpful & accommodating to make the stay enjoyable. We cant wait to return for total relaxation.

Lovely, rural site tucked away at the end of a farm track. Owners made us feel very welcome and provided an information pack filled with leaflets for the surrounding area. Metheringham is within cycling/walking distance while there are loads of others walks starting from the camp site. Also a wide variety of wildlife can be seen close to the campsite including owls. The site is ideally suited for young children as it is away from main roads or through traffic. It is also suited for dog walkers due to the good selection of local walks

Gary and Michelle made us both most welcome. The wild life was fantastic. Miles of countryside walks and good for cycling too.
We went for a week and stayed for two, that says it all. Thank-you to you both. We will be back in the Autumn
